Damon de Szegheo - Producer and Recording Engineer

An almost 20 year veteran of the music industry - Damon de Szegheo has worked as an engineer or producer with a who’s who of Canadian music including The Barenaked Ladies, Bruce Cockburn, Serena Ryder, Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch, Justin Rutledge, Craig Cardiff, Ruby Coast, and many others. He has toured as a part of the on-road crew with Country Music Legend Stompin’ Tom Connors, has been invited to sit on numerous Factor Grant Juries, and previously held the position of head instructor and resident Producer at The Audio Recording Academy (TARA) - a recording arts college in downtown Toronto that houses five studios and the EMI Music Publishing Studio.

Gord Richards - Recording Engineer

Engineer, studio musician, and songwriter - Gord Richards has worked on many eclectic recording projects including location recording for Lioness & Divine Brown for The City Sonic Music Series (airing on Rogers Cable and Aux.tv); and in studio work on the upcoming full length CD by Jasmine Richards (of Walt Disney’s ‘Camp Rock’) for EMI Music Publishing.

Justin Helle - Recording Engineer

Hailing from Ottawa Canada, Justin Helle has graduated from both The Audio Recording Academy’s Ottawa Engineering Program and Fanshawe College’s Music Industry Arts. Justin worked at Raven Street Studios in Ottawa before coming to Oak first as a temp and now as a valuable addition to our engineering staff.
